The Slammer is a 44 foot semi-custom fiberglass sportfishing machine sailing from South Jersey Marina in Cape May, NJ. It is powered by twin 500 HP turbocharged-aftercooled diesels that enable her to obtain a top speed of 30 MPH.  Equipment includes 48 mile Furano Radar, Northstar 951 XD GPS, Northstar Loran 800, VHF Radio, SSB Radio, Furano Color Fishfinder, autopilot, water temperature guage, air conditioning, microwave, AM/FM stereo, XM Satellite Radio, VCR, EPIRB, and color television.  The Slammer also has an eight-man AVON Life raft, plus all the United States Coast Guard (USCG) required safety equipment. 
        The Slammer features are built around custom fishability.  The trademark of this Henriques design is cockpit space.  Compared to many vessels of her size, the Slammer has more cockpit room, which means more room for you to fight fish and move about.  With 28 rodholders, a custom rocket launcher bait station, salt and freshwater washdown systems, bait freezer, two deck-integrated fish boxes, the Slammer contains everything that is needed for offshore fishing.  Storage of fish, gear, bait, and ice is never a problem, as we posses the room necessary for short and long hauls.  Matching this type of fishability with the latest in equipment and electronics makes the Slammer truly a top-notch fishing machine for the charter industry.
