Trip Descriptions

Our trips are specifically designed to meet all your fishing needs.   Below is a list of the most popular forms of fishing excursions.  However, we can fish for anything, and will do our best to customize a trip to you specific, individual needs.  Just because it doesn't appear below doesn't mean we don't do it - just ask and we'll accommodate!
All trips and prices include the best high-quality tackle available, ice, bait, and expertise.  We provide all the fishing necessities - just grab your lunch and supplies (Sunscreen, sunglasses, clothing) and you're ready to go.

A Typical Trip...
Once you confirm your date and deposit, you will be asked to arrive at the boat prior to the departure time.  We we load your personal belongings, food, and supplies onto the boat.  No need to worry about tackle (unless you'd like to bring your own gear of course!), as your mates will have all rods, bait, and necessary items ready beforehand - we arrive early!  We provide ice for your food and catch.  Once we depart, we will go over the amenities and safety features of the vessel, and give you the guidelines of "Fishing 101."  Feel free to ask any questions - we are here to serve you, and we make serving our customers and their needs our number one priority.
Once we arrive at the fishing grounds, we will explain the general process and work our hardest on catching you fish.  Once boated, we pride ourselves on our ability to preserve your catch.  For many species, this will include bleeding the fish, gutting possibly, packing them with ice, the works.  We want your fish to be in the best possible condition it can be when it arrives to the dock.  One thing is for certain - we eat a lot of fish, so we know the absolute best methods of maintaining and ensuring quality.
After the trip and the return to the dock, cleaning services are available at the marina.  We will transport your catch the fish cleaning station once the fish monger is ready.  We will assist you in unloading all your gear and supplies, and ensure you have left nothing behind.  We will then provide you with the ice and necessities for packing your filets for the trip home.  We appreciate any feedback - we can always talk fishing!

Inshore Trips - Fun for the whole family, and for the novice crowd that wants to gain their "sea-legs."  Our inshore trips run for 4, 6, or 8 hours generally, and are designed to put you on th fish fast, fill your coolers, and give you the best experience possible.

Wreck fishing (Inshore/Offshore) - Wreck fishing can provide some great action and both high quality and quantity catches.  Wreck fishing is predominantly available year round, but the distance we need to travel to find loaded wrecks varies.  So, trip costs, distances, and times will vary.

Spring & Fall Stripers/Drum - Some of the best inshore fishing you'll find on the water!  These trips target trophy class fish, and our very popular, as they provide a short ride to top-level fishing.  These trips generally run 8 hours.

Shark Trips - Generally in the spring and early summer, the waters heat up with the beasts of the deep.  Shark trips may be inshore or offshore, depending upon species and conditions.  They generally run 10 - 12 hours.

Offshore Trolling (Daytime) - These trips target the common offshore species, and are one of the most popular available.  Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin... you name it, we locate it.  These trips run in varying increments, depending upon current conditions and reports.  There's nothing like this form of Big Game Fishing!

Overnighters - The best trip available for Big Game Action!  These trips feature it all - daytime canyon trolling, overnight chunking, Tuna, Marlin, Swordfish, Sharks, you name it.  These trips commonly run in 24 - 30 hour intervals, but give you the most fishing time available to claim your catch.

Pricing
Like any water adventure, fishermen deal with one main cost that determines pricing - Fuel.  Because the cost of fuel, supplies, and conditions vary to such a great extent, we ask that you call or email us to receive current prices.  We do this s we can offer you the best deal going.

**During your trip, the captain will put you o the fish, and the mates will show you how to catch them.  As with any service-oriented industry, it is customary to tip the mate 15-20% for their efforts and expertise.

Fishing Calendar
Different species bite the best at different times of the year.  Not sure what's biting?  Give us a call - we'll be happy to give you all the information we have to aid in the decision making process and steer you in the right direction
Typically, spring and early summer action includes wreck fishing, Stripers, Drum, Shark, and inshore species.  Once the summer rolls in, we generally fish inshore, offshore for the early bite, shark, and focus on available species.  Inshore trips are available all year - we can usually find targeted species close to home, just ask for details and the latest reports
From July on, the offshore action really heats up, and daytime canyon trips, Bluefin Tuna trolling, and Offshore overnighters start to fill up.  I the early fall, overnighter action is the best and most desired trip.
In the late fall and entering winter, striper action is the hottest it can be - we've fished through the New Year!
